Working on the 3D Educational Resources project has helped me grow immensely as a designer – from learning how to capture each individual specimen to iterating on these 3D models to cater to each instructor’s needs.
One of my biggest highlights of working on this project is the realization that my work is actually contributing to the classroom and learning environment, especially with courses recently having moved online! Working with this team has taught me tons of valuable skills including how to quickly adapt to using new 3D design applications and how to successfully manage client projects. I can definitely say that coming from a Cognitive Systems background with a huge passion in technology and design, this project has really opened my eyes to the different ways that technology can be used when creating learning tools in our education by digital interaction with dynamic objects and models.
